They put a new headgasket in my B.M.W and they did a great job.

I brought my VW TDI in for it's 80,000 mile maintenance service. My car was running boggy like it wasn't getting clean gas before I brought it in and was hoping the 80,000 service would fix it with a new fuel filter. It didn't. I then brought the car to a shop in Holland (300 miles after the 80,000 mile maintenance) they insisted it was the fuel filter and I told them I JUST had it replaced the week prior but they were persistent that the fuel filter was the best place to start to fix the problem. What do you know, the car ran great as soon as the fuel filter was replaced. I either got a bad fuel filter from Flying Dog or they never actually changed it out. And if they didn't change it out it makes me wonder what else they didn't do. And if they did actually change it out with a bad replacement part what else did they change out with a bad part? I won't bring my car back... on the bright side the customer service was great and I got the car back the same day I dropped it off... but I would have rather them keep it for another day and picked it up with a new/good fuel filter.

2007 VW GTI I noticed that the engine wasn't running well, even though there weren't any check engine lights on. I took it too a DIFFERENT shop and they said there was a lot of metal in the oil and the engine was going to fail soon. They didn't want to find the cause or offer any solutions. I took it HERE for a second opinion and they actually put in an effort to find out the problem. They seemed to know what to look for because apparently the camshaft follower on the high pressure fuel pump wore and failed. GTI drivers should know better to check this piece but I didn't at the time! Oops. This is why I picked this shop because of their work with euro cars. It was a hefty price to fix the damage that was caused inside the engine, but I didn't want to buy another car (market is terrible at the moment) Once it was all said and done, the car is running GREAT, I don't think my engine has ran this smoothly in a LONG time! Very grateful. They do have a cool online system for their work orders, you can see pictures they share and information. I do wish there was an itemized list with details including labor, but I didn't get one. I didn't ask either, so they may be able to offer that, I don't know, I just didn't get one.

I just purchased a pre-owned Subaru Forester and two weeks later, the check engine light and other warning lights started flashing as well! A friend of mine recommended to I take it to Flying Dog for a check up. They figured out the problem while I waited and even provided photos of what they found! They are very honest and professional and are one of the most courteous shops I've ever seen! Well done! I recommend them very highly!

Thank you so much Gary! We appreciate you kind words.

We went here to get a headlight and a blinker fixed. We got an estimate ( way expensive) and picked up our car. Get home and notice they did not even do our blinker and a running light still was not working, they just forgot about it? We did have to pay like 2k plus. We bring it back and they end up changing our estimate and saying something else very expensive is not wrong with it ( how did you not find this the first time you looked at the blinker and charged us) We decided to get the problem taken care of and they didn’t charge us for the labor of the blinker because they forgot about it. We get it back and immediately the engine light is on and light are out in the console - I call within 5 mins leave a message. They don’t call back. My husband calls and they don’t call back. I leave a really stern message and they finally tell us they will look at it but we will have to pay again. The issue was never there until we picked it up that day, why would I have to pay for an issue they obviously created while working on the car. Just seemed wrong and the fact we had issue after issue , but never found the first time - I felt like they were just taking advantage of us. We have two foreign cars and will never go back there again

Wasn’t impressed with speed of service, they ordered the wrong part for the vehicle and it ended up being 4 complete days for repair with little communication- I had to reach out every time. Mentioned a loaner vehicle but its availability was elusive. Trans fluid change and power steering pump replacement. Pump replacement alone was almost 2k and the prices for parts weren’t listed on the invoice. Found additional problems once the pump was installed so the issue wasn’t even fixed to make it better. Receptionist was nice but wouldn’t give clear answer to deadlines.

Thank you for repairing my axle on my BMW 2005. It runs very well and I will be returning if I need any more repairs.

Whem any service is offered to you and you ask for a parts and labor break down, you should always get it. I was quoted almost 6000$ for a head and timing belt job on a Subaru. i asked for a breakdown of that job knowing the labor for one is kinda canceled by the other, they are done at the same time, I was told that it is impossible to get me a parts and labor list. thats shady. they also left someone else keys in my car that I return on my own time to not inconvenience them followed by a wheel that came lose on the highway. I also did not like the snarky comment on the quote about a car I just purchased and how the last owner put the exhaust together, unprofessional. I asked for the owner to call me so we could make this right, no call was revived. never pay for work that you can't see exactly What your paying for. Also if the service writer knows nothing about cars it makes everything harder. no one was able to answer my questions. I paid 150 for all that and a list of things needed that matched the list I made myself. all I needed was a quote for a head job not a safety inspection for 150 so my opinion, they can't prove What your paying for, and the people you talk to have no clue how to answer your questions. my money is to valuable to me I will not spend it here. ask for your bill in writing, be sure they are not stacking hours up too. I'm getting the head job done with the belt and more for 2800.
